Album Release

Scott DL has recorded a new album, Scott DL's Enlightenment Saloon, at The Artisan Studio at Brucemore in Cedar Rapids.

Scott DL is a consummate musician who has performed around the U.S. and released seven albums. He was a New Folk Finalist at the Kerrville Folk Festival, TX in 2004 and 2007. In 2013, Scott recorded with legendary producer and engineer Bruce Swedien (Quincy Jones). In 2018, Scott moved to Cheltenham, UK to expand his musical horizons. His band included drummer Paul Arthurs (Moments of Pleasure: The Music of Kate Bush), keyboardist Peter Nemesvari (Mellowmatic), and bassist Mark Nye (SlowJin). After returning to the U.S. in 2021, Scott recorded Scott DL’s Enlightenment Saloon with producer Gerard Estella, which was released on March 10, 2023.
