Scott DL’s Enlightenment Saloon to perform at CSPS Hall in Cedar Rapids, May 25, 2024

Guitarist/vocalist Scott DL will perform at CSPS Hall in Cedar Rapids on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 8:00 pm. Featuring songs from his latest album, Scott DL’s Enlightenment Saloon, Scott will be backed by Gerard Estella (keyboards, guitar), Aurélie Berta (vocals), Jim Coates (guitar), Lincoln Ginsberg (bass), and Dave Nanke (drums, percussion).

Scott DL is a consummate musician who has performed around the U.S. and released seven albums. He was a New Folk Finalist at the Kerrville Folk Festival, TX in 2004 and 2007. In 2013, Scott recorded with legendary producer and engineer Bruce Swedien (Quincy Jones). In 2018, Scott moved to Cheltenham, UK to expand his musical horizons. His band included drummer Paul Arthurs (Moments of Pleasure: The Music of Kate Bush), keyboardist Peter Nemesvari (Mellowmatic), and bassist Mark Nye (SlowJin). After returning to the U.S. in 2021, Scott recorded his latest album, Scott DL’s Enlightenment Saloon, at The Artisan Studio at Brucemore in Cedar Rapids, which was released in March 2023.
