After returning to the US in 2021, Scott recorded Scott DL’s Enlightenment Saloon, an 11-song album, at The Artisan Studio at Brucemore in Cedar Rapids, which was released on March 10, 2023. In support of the album, Scott was backed by Gerard Estella (keyboards, guitar), Aurélie Berta (vocals), Jim Coates (guitar), Lincoln Ginsberg (bass), and Dave Nanke (drums, percussion) at venues including CSPS Hall (Cedar Rapids), Opus Concert Café (Cedar Rapids), and Hanson Auditorium (Manchester, IA).

In 2024, Scott was featured in the first episode of Live from the Artisan Studio, a new digital series on the YouTube channel @BrucemoreArtisanStudio hosted by Megan Turner. He talked about his songwriting journey and performed acoustic renditions of original songs in front of a live studio audience.

In 2025, Scott teamed up with lyricist and digital media producer D. E. Pals to launch the second channel on GlobalNation TV, a new online platform developed by music/multimedia pioneer Todd Rundgren, following the debut of his flagship channel.
