Saloon Doors Swing Open

Scott and I wrote our first songs together when we were in high school. We cut our teeth in the age of analog. Four-track tape decks, noisy effects devices, arduous real-time mixes. We even put a mic in a bathroom to serve as reverb. We enjoyed collaborating and creative self-expression, but at times it was a struggle. After a cold dose of the music biz in LA, I returned to university to pursue a degree while Scott has continued his music career, performing around the country and recording in 2013 with legendary producer and engineer Bruce Swedien. Fast forward to the present. My how the world has changed since our nascent music collaboration. Scott and I have changed, too, bringing more experienced perspectives to our renewed efforts.
