Scott DL's Enlightenment Saloon

Scott DL is a consummate musician who has performed in the US and UK and released seven albums. He was a New Folk Finalist at the Kerrville Folk Festival, TX in 2004 and 2007. In 2012, Scott recorded with legendary producer and engineer Bruce Swedien (Quincy Jones).

In 2018, Scott moved to Cheltenham, UK to expand his musical horizons. His band included drummer Paul Arthurs (Moments of Pleasure: The Music of Kate Bush, Alex Voysey), keyboardist Peter Nemesvari (Mellowmatic), and bassist Mark Nye (SlowJin).

After returning to the US in 2021, Scott recorded Scott DL’s Enlightenment Saloon at The Artisan Studio at Brucemore in Cedar Rapids, which was released on March 10, 2023. In support of the album, Scott was backed by Gerard Estella (keyboards, guitar), Aurélie Berta (vocals), Jim Coates (guitar), Lincoln Ginsberg (bass), and Dave Nanke (drums, percussion) at venues including CSPS Hall (Cedar Rapids), Opus Concert Café (Cedar Rapids), and Hanson Auditorium (Manchester, IA).

In 2025, soon after music/multimedia pioneer Todd Rundgren unveiled the flagship channel on his new online platform GlobalNation, Scott teamed up with lyricist and digital media producer D. E. Pals to launch the platform’s second channel.
